Please come and join us on 26th January at Sacred Heart from 10 am to noon to help us raise the awareness of Human trafficking in our city and country. Sr. Margaret Krause will be helping us to learn how the vulnerable in our society are made victims to this inhuman act. Also she will help us with her wisdom to reach out to those who have been made victims and make a difference in their life.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization that seeks to help the poor in the tradition of the St. Vincent de Paul founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam and the society’s patron saint, St Vincent de Paul.
St. Paul Parish has a conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Our members visit those in need in their homes and provide tangible assistance with food, grocery certificates, rental and utility payments, gas cards, and other financial help including vouchers for free clothing, furniture and other household items from the local St. Vincent de Paul stores located at 2320 W. Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee or 4500 S 108th St, Greenfield. Most importantly, our members provide those they visit encouragement, advice and friendship.
The Conference uses our food pantry to bring food and personal items to people we visit. The food pantry is replenished by the generous contributions from St. Paul parish members. We also accept monetary contributions through the Poor Boxes in church and or made directly to the Conference.
The Conference always welcomes new members in its mission of humble charity, compassion and friendship to the poor. The Conference meets the 1st meeting of each month. Please see the bulletin for details on time and place, or call the parish office for more information. To learn more about St. Vincent de Paul Society please visit www.svdpusa.org.

On the weekend of September 9 and 10, the St. Paul St. Vincent de Paul Society is sponsoring a “Bundle Truck” Weekend. St. Vincent de Paul Truck will be in the St. Paul parking lot 45 minutes before the Saturday 4 p.m. Mass and the Sunday 8:15 a.m. Mass, and it remain there for at least a half an hour after Mass (until everyone has had a chance to drop off their donations). The truck will be manned by SVDP members who will assist people in dropping off their donations. This is an excellent opportunity to donate clothes and household items that you may no longer be using, but that could be helpful to less fortunate people. If you have any questions about the “Bundle Truck” weekend, call Joel at 414-243-9918.
